Reporting on use of powers during a transition period
Part of our legislative requirements is that we (Nelson Tasman Recovery Team) produce a report on the statutory powers used during the transition period from the weather event.
In is an obligation under section 94P of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002 (the Act).
The transition period for Nelson Tasman in relation to the severe weather event in August 2022 extended from Wednesday 31 August 2022 to Wednesday 26 October 2022.
